Laronsia ‘Ronnie’ Reynolds, originally from Florida, has been a prominent figure in the Anchorage, Alaska community since her relocation in 1982. She pursued her education at Alaska Pacific University, where she not only completed her undergraduate degree but also obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
For the past 25 years, Ronnie has dedicated her career to the non-profit sector, working tirelessly in various roles within Anchorage community health agencies. Her extensive experience is marked by her ability to work effectively with both children and adults facing diverse challenges, including varying abilities, diagnoses, and challenging behaviors. Ronnie has successfully assisted individuals dealing with a wide range of issues such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, transitions, Dementia, serious mental illness, severe emotional disturbances, as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her adaptability in employing therapeutic treatment strategies and approaches has been fundamental to her work, reflecting her commitment to personalized and effective care.
Beyond her professional life, Ronnie finds joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her love for the outdoors shines, particularly during the vibrant Summer and Fall seasons. She is an active enthusiast of sports and enjoys engaging in a variety of word and board games. For Ronnie, her work isn’t just a job—it’s a passion.
