New Patients



The first step is to call our office at 272-4407. The front desk staff will take your information and get you set up for an intake appointment with a clinician that matches your needs.  The front desk staff will be able to answer general questions and give you the information needed to call your insurance.

Psychology Resources will bill most major insurance companies as a courtesy. Many of our providers are preferred providers for Premera. Our providers are currently in the process of becoming preferred providers for United Health Care. We do not bill Triwest, Tricare, Medicaid, Medicare or Denali Kid Care, as they do not reimburse us.

It is important for you to call your insurance prior to the first appointment to determine what coverage you have, your deductible and co-pay. This will help you evaluate what resources you have available to pay for your treatment. If you have a health insurance policy, it may or may not provide coverage for mental health services. There is a tremendous degree of coverage variation not only across different insurance providers but also between the various policies that are offered by the same insurance company so calling ahead is a critical step.

Ultimately you are responsible for your bill and any unpaid portion after insurance at the time of service.
At the end of each session you will be provided with a superbill itemizing the charges for that session.
