Brittany is a third generation Alaskan. She was born and raised in Anchorage, where she obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Brittany has worked in the Anchorage community for the last 19 years, in both outpatient community mental health, and at Providence, at their subacute inpatient mental health facility.
Both places, as a mental health therapist. Brittany’s primary focus has been working with youth and their families struggling with trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation management,shame, poor parent-child relationships, depression/anxiety, and other mental health conditions. She has also worked with adults during life transitions, supporting them in grief and loss, trauma, as well as other mental health concerns.
Brittany enjoys spending time with her important people, reading, knitting, going to live music, traveling, and Harry Potter.
